    Full day visit of Pella, one the most ancient towns in Jordan; exceptionally rich in antiquities, some of which are exceedingly old. Besides the excavated ruins from the Graeco-Roman period, Pella houses the remains of Chalcolithic settlements from the 4th millennium BC, evidence of Bronze and Iron Age walled cities, Byzantine churches, early Islamic residential quarters and a small medieval mosque. Hidden for centuries under sand before being excavated and restored over the past 70 years, Jerash dates back more than 6,500 years and reveals the ruins of paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, handsome theatres, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls pierced by towers and gates.     Drive along the famous Kingsway Road, the 2000-year old Biblical highway, visiting along the way, Madaba, ‘The City of Mosaics’ 30 Km south of Amman. Visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George where the famous 6th Century Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land is found. Proceed to Mount Nebo, known as the burial place of Prophet Moses. Finally visit the Crusader Castle of Kerak, built in the 12th century AD, and proceed to Petra for overnight.

    Full day visit of Petra, the “Rose Red City” and Jordan’s most visited attraction. The ancient Nabatean city of Petra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and also a UNESCO World Heritage Listed Site. Built by the Nabateans more than 2000 years ago, it is a myriad of carved monumental tombs, palaces, temples, treasuries, caves, colonnaded streets, amphitheaters, funeral halls and much more.     Visit Little Petra, ’Al-Beidha’, an important suburb of the City of Petra located only a 10min drive away. Discover remains from as early as the 1st or 2nd millennium BC. Continue to Wadi Rum, Jordan’s vast, echoing and magical moon-like desert, with its ancient valleys and towering sandstone mountains, for a 4x4 ride. The enigmatic British officer T.E. Lawrence was based here during the Great Arab Revolt of 1917-18 and much of David Lean’s Lawrence of Arabia was filmed in Wadi Rum. Return to Amman for overnight.
