    Arrive at the Muscat International Airport, Oman, where our representative will meet you and take you on a tour of the city of Muscat before transferring you to your hotel.

    The representative will take you on a Half Day Muscat City Tour and show you the marvels of the city including the world’s fifth largest mosque Sultan Qaboos Mosque, which is also known as the Grand Mosque. Visitors are advised to be mindful of the dress code at this religious site. The tour will take you across the embassy quarters, through the Royal Opera House, the Bait Al Baranda Museum, and the Al Alam Palace and its two Portuguese Forts - the Al Mirani and Al Jalali. Later, drive past the corniche and visit the Muttrah Souk, which is the oldest souk in the country.

    Today, you will go on a trip from Muscat to Nizwa, with a stopover at Amouage, and from Nizwa to Jabreen, with a stopover at Bahla.

    Start your day’s journey with a trip from Muscat to Nizwa. In between, have a short stopover at the well-known Amouage factory, which produces aromatic perfumes. During your visit to the factory, which is closed on Fridays and Saturdays, learn about their production process and the ingredients used to create these unique perfumes.

    Resume your journey towards the ancient capital of Oman, Ni zwa. After you reach Nizwa, explore the local marketplace, the Nizwa souq, and learn about its heritage at the fort.

    As you proceed from Nizwa to Jabreen, get to know some interesting facts about the ancient and powerful history of this region as you enjoy a short photo stopover at the UNESCO designated world heritage site, the Bahla Fort.     Today, you will depart Oman and proceed with your onward journey. However, depending upon the time of your departure flight, you can choose to visit the following attractions.

    Head for the coastline to reach Sur, which was an important trading city during the ancient times. While here, notice the traditional wooden ships known as dhows. Next, visit a dhow factory and the open air dhow museum to learn about the process of making dhows. Further, you can enjoy a serene stroll via Wadi Shab or travel around Wadi Tiwi by car. This brings your w onderful journey in Oman to an end.
