    Today, you will arrive at the Muscat International Airport in Oman. Our representative will meet you at the airport and take you on a brief tour of the capital city of Muscat before transferring you to your hotel in the city.

    Your day tour of Muscat will begin with a photo stopover at the world’s fifth largest mosque, the Sultan Qaboos Mosque. Then, you will pass the embassy quarters and reach the stunning Royal Opera House. Also, tour the Al Alam Palace and its two Portuguese Forts, the Al Mirani and Al Jalali; and enjoy a drive alo ngside the cornice that will lead you to the oldest ‘souk’ or marketplace in the country, the Muttrah Souk. After an enjoyable shopping stint at the souk, you will be transferred to your hotel in Muscat.

    You will go on a day tour of the ancient city of Nizwa. Start your day’s journey with a visit to a local traditional ‘souq’ or a market place that has different speciality sections. Shop to your heart’s content at this souq, which is famous for traditional silver jewellery and handmade daggers, locally known as khanjars. Follow it up with a visit to the Nizwa Fort, which is a 17th century castle with a large cylindrical tower. Continue your journey and proceed for the mystical city of Bahla, which contains one of Oman’s four UNESCO designated World Heritage Sites. At Bahla, explore the Bahla Fort. Proceed for the day’s final destination – the beautiful historical castle in the country, the Jabreen castle. The best way to discover the beauty and history of the castle is to explore its interiors while you guider narrates the tragic story of the life of its builder, Immam Bil’arub bin Sultan.
