  • Day 1 Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Phitsanulok

    Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Phitsanulok

    You will be picked up from your hotel to visit the magnificent Summer Palace of Rama V. From here you will proceed to the Ayutthaya, a former capital having ancient temples of Wat Yai Chaimongkhon, Wat Mahathat and Wat Phanan Choeng. Post this; you will have your lunch at a restaurant in Chai Nat before you proceed to Phitsanulok. Enjoy a brief orientation tour before you check into your hotel with the remaining time at your leisure.  Enjoy your overnight stay at a hotel in Phitsanulok.

  • Day 2 Phitsanulok - Sukhothai - Lampang

    Phitsanulok - Sukhothai - Lampang

    After having breakfast at the hotel, you would visit the Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat, known for having the most venerated Buddha statues in Thailand. You are actually going to participate with the locals for morning prayers and offerings. From here you will proceed to Sukhothai that speaks its history via its various landmarks including Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site having remains of temples, palaces and different sized Buddha Statues. After this, you are going to have lunch en-route at a local restaurant. Taking a short drive to Si Stachanalai you will witness the mesmerizing ruins of half a dozen temples and innumerable statues of Buddha visible only after crossing the wooden suspension bridge for Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat. Lastly, you will leave this spiritual abode to reach Lampang by the evening. Enjoy your remaining time at your own leisure and return for an overnight stay at a hotel in Lampang.

  • Day 3 Lampang - Phayao - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai

    After having your breakfast at the hotel, you will pay a visit to the fantastic Wat Phra That Lampang Luang temple known for its detailed decorations and striking Buddha statues. From here, you will move towards the north with a coffee break at Phayao Lake en-route for the stunning temple of Wat Rong Khun. After this, you will move to Chiang Rai for lunch.  Lastly, you will visit the Golden Triangle- the meeting point of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. You are going to take a 45 minute long boat trip around it and stop at Don Sao Island to know more abo ut the infamous opium cultivation history.
