Discover the modern cities, historical wonders and beautiful desert landscapes of Saudi Arabia.Start with an exploration of Riyadh, Saudi’s capital, then travel to AlUla, a key trading post on the incense, silk and spice routes.     Arrive at King Khalid International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for a 3-night stay. 

  • Day 2 Riyadh – Ushaiger – Riyadh

    You’ll have this morning to relax or explore Riyadh independently. After an early lunch, head northwest to Ushaiger and explore its Heritage Village.First settled by Bedouins around 1,500 years ago, the village is still inhabited by a small community and provides a glimpse into ancient Saudi society. Hundreds of mud houses are connected by a labyrinth of winding alleys and timber-framed lanes, while a cluster of renovated houses showcase distinctive Najdi architecture. Enjoy a traditional Saudi dinner at the Najd Village restaurant before returning to your hotel.

    Start a full-day exploration of Riyadh with a visit to Saudi’s National Museum. Its eight themed exhibition halls will take you on a historical and spiritual journey through the history and culture of Arabia. Continue to the nearby Al Murabba Palace, the former home and court of King Abdulaziz, founder of modern Saudi.
     
    Next, visit Al Masmak Fortress, a huge clay and mud-brick citadel in Riyadh’s old quarter. Originally built in 1865, the restored building is now a museum showcasing historic artefacts, artworks and other t reasures. After lunch, visit the Sky Bridge at Kingdom Centre and take the high-speed elevator to the 99th floor.

    Fly to AlUla – Dadan & Jabal Ikmah - Elephant Rock

    Take a morning flight to AlUla and transfer to AlUla Old Town. After lunch, join a tour to Dadan and Jabal Ikmah. Start at the site of Dadan, once a highly developed city on the incense trade route. At Jabal Ikmahyou’ll see ancient inscriptions and rock art in a stunning desert canyon.
     
    Continue to Elephant Rock, a towering desert rock formation hewn by millions of years of natural erosion. The site is surrounded by several other impressive outcrops and rock formations.Check-in to your hotel for a 2-night stay.

  • Day 5 Hegra - Gharameel

    Visit the ancient rock-hewn city of Hegra. This UNESCO-listed site was the second city of the Nabataean kingdom and was once a thriving international trade hub. Explore giant tombs carved from the desert rock and visit the historic Hijaz Railway Station.
     
    Later, explore the astonishing desert landscapes of Gharameel. Take in the awe-inspiring sight of the desert sky, surrounded by towering rock formations. Then enjoy a traditional barbecue under the stars.

  • Day 6 AlUla to Jeddah

    Drive to Madina and take a high-speed train to Jeddah. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
     
    Later tour of the city includes visit to Tayebat Museum, showcasing City’s 2,500-year history. A photo-stop at the Floating Mosque on the new Cornish, then continue to Al-Balad, Jeddah’s UNESCO-listed Old City. A guide will share stories of the city’s past inhabitants, and you will visit the North Gate and Makkah Gate - the entrance of the road to Mecca.
