  • Day 1 Arusha

    You will be met at the airport and transferred to Mount Meru Game Lodge. Nestled between the peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, the lodge dates back to 1959. Spend the afternoon at leisure or visit the Game Sanctuary, which for many years has provided a safe haven for African plains game. 

  • Day 2 Tarangire National Park

    Tarangire National Park

    Head to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Located in the Manyara region, Tarangire is an awe-inspiring park comprised of granite ridges, river valleys and mixed vegetative landscapes. Lions are commonly spotted, and this is the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as oryx and gerenuk are seen regularly. Dinner and overnight at the intimate Honeyguide Tarangire Camp.

  • Day 3 Central Serengeti

    Central Serengeti

    Depart for the Serengeti and enjoy a game drive en route. Late afternoon, arrive at Serengeti Kati Kati, a mobile tented camp well placed for seeing the wildlife of the vast Serengeti Plains. The landscapes here are characterised by stretches of savannah interspersed by rocky outcrops and acacia woodlands. The Central Serengeti hosts part of the great wildebeest and zebra migration and is home to wildlife including giraffes, impalas, hippos, lions and much more.

  • Day 4 Central Serengeti

    This morning you’ll have the opportunity for an optional balloon safari (additional cost), a magical way to take in the wildlife and landscapes of the Serengeti. Embark on morning and late-afternoon game drives, and then spend a quiet evening by the campfire, enjoying the combination of absolute comfort and the authenticity of a night spent in the African bush.

  • Day 5 Olduvai Gorge - Karatu

    Olduvai Gorge - Karatu

    Drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, visiting the Olduvai Gorge en route. This important archaeological site has yielded fossils and stone tools that span millions of years, offering important insights into the dawn of human evolution. Pass through the town of Karatu and on to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim for views of the caldera. Continue to Acacia Farm Lodge, located in lush grounds within the Karatu Area.

  • Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater

    Ngorongoro Crater

    Explore the Ngorongoro Crater today, known for its natural beauty and abundance of diverse wildlife. This UNESCO-listed crater is considered to be the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Visitors can look forward to spotting the Big Five and a host of other species including large herds of zebra and wildebeest.

  • Day 7 Lake Manyara National Park - Onward journey

    Lake Manyara National Park - Onward journey

    Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, a small park with a magnificent landscape of acacia woodlands, forests, baobab-strewn cliffs and algae-streaked hot springs. It supports more than 400 bird species and the world’s largest concentration of baboons. You’ll also see tree-climbing lions, large families of elephants and thousands of flamingos on the lake. Later, drive to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
