  • Day 1 Yangon

    Upon arrival in Yangon, the capital city of Myanmar, our guide will meet you and give you a welcome packet including the necessary documentation and vouchers as well as contact details of your guide and local offices. After transfer to your hotel, you will go on a sightseeing tour of Yangon amongst its tree-shaded boulevards. You will visit The Strand Hotel, post office, Gandhi Hall, Myanmar bank buildings, Secretariat Building and Yangon Heritage Trust, Emmanuel Baptist Church, High Court (formerly known as the Parliament for Justice), Mahabandoola Park and City Hall and end your tour at Sule Point. Have coffee and enjoy a snack at on top of Sakura Tower and follow it up with a visit to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market (Close on Mondays and public holidays). The highlight of your day will be visiting Shwedagon Pagoda, a gilded stupa, considered to be one of the most sacred Buddhist pagodas at sunset. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Yangon.

    Your day will start your day with a sightseeing tour of Yangon on a circular train. Your tour starts at the colourful Hledan market and crosses Yangon's main townships and districts in a rough circle, giving you a chance to see locals indulged in their daily life and rituals. Later, visit the colonial buildings in Yangon including the City Hall, Secretariat Building, a Victorian building, Gandhi Hall, the Armenian Church, the Post Office, The Strand Hotel, Port Authority building and Accountant General's Office & Currency Department as well a s Yangon Heritage Trust. Have tea/coffee at Lat Ywae Sin. Lunch at a local restaurant and overnight stay in Yangon.

  • Day 3 Yangon - Heho - Nyaung Shwe - Inle Lake - Nyaung Shwe

    Yangon - Heho - Nyaung Shwe - Inle Lake - Nyaung Shwe

    Take a flight from Yangon to Heho and from there be transferred to Nyaung Shwe by a private vehicle. Enjoy a leisurely boat excursion around the Inle Lake including visits to the enchanting floating gardens, a bustling market, an Intha village around the lake as well as to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Inn Paw Khon Village (Lotus and silk weaving villages) and the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery. Enjoy lunch hosted by a local Intha family at Pauk Par Village. Later in the day go for a cycling excursion of the Red Mountain Vineyard. You will cover the outskirts of N yaung Shwe, visit Kyauk Phyu Gyi seated Buddha in Tuang Myot village, Payagi village on your way to the vineyard. Explore the lush fields and vineyard at leisure and learn about the process of wine-making. Cycle back to Nyaung Shwe for your overnight stay.

  • Day 4 Nyaung Shwe - Heho - Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin

    Nyaung Shwe - Heho - Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin

    Transfer by road from Nyaung Shwe to Heho and board a flight from Heho to Mandalay from where you will be transferred to Pyin Oo Lwin by road. Upon arrival, visit the famous Botanical Gardens, complete with flowerbeds, natural forest, rose gardens and an orchid houses. Enjoy the view of the Purcell Tower from here. Also visit the Church Of The Immaculate Conception and stop by a local coffee shop later in the day. Overnight stay in Pyin Oo Lwin.

  • Day 5 Pyin Oo Lwin

    Pyin Oo Lwin

    Enjoy a leisurely train ride from Pyin Oo Lain to Naung Paing  via the famous Gokteik Viaduct, the highest bridge in Myanmar. Transfer back by road from Naung Paing to Pyin Oo Lwin. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Pyin Oo Lwin.

  • Day 6 Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay

    Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay

    Be transferred by road from Pyin Oo Lwin to Mandalay. Upon arrival enjoy sightseeing in Mandalay. Start your day by visiting the famous Mahamuni Paya, covered in over 15 cm of gold leaf. On your way, learn about the art of gold-leaf beating and enjoy visiting a craft workshops, specializing in bronze-casting, marble-carving, wood-carving, or puppetry. Later, visit Shwenandaw Kyaung, or the Golden Teak Monastery and Kyauktawgyi Paya before continuing towards Kuthodaw Paya, known also as "the world's biggest book".  The last temple on yo ur journey will be Shwe Kyin Old Monastery. Visit the Mandalay Hill at sunset as well as the bustling night market of Mandalay to end the day. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

  • Day 7 Mandalay

    Mandalay

    You will cover the three former royal capitals, each boasting its unique architecture. Start your day by exploring Amarapura, also a former royal capital and your first stop here will be Mahagandayon Monastery. Next, pay a visit to Sagaing, the spiritual centre of Myanmar, home to Hundreds of stupas, monasteries, temples and nunneries. Stop at some of the most famous temples, such as Sun U Ponya Shin Paya, U Min Thonsei Paya and Kaung Hmu Daw Paya. Take a ferry to Inwa, later in the day and enjoy a leisurely horsecart ride around the peaceful countryside and visit Bagaya Kyaung, Maha Aungmyay Bonzan Kyaung, and Nan Myint Tower. Finally, return to Amarapura, to end the day At U Bein's Bridge, a picturesque teak bridge which extends over one kilometre across Taungthaman Lake.  Overnight in Mandalay.

  • Day 8 Mandalay - Monywa

    Mandalay - Monywa

    Transfer by a vehicle from Mandalay to Monywa and take a sightseeing tour in Monywa on arrival. Explore the colourful Thanboddhay Kat Kyaw Paya and Boddhi Tataung. Later, go for an excursion of the Pow Win Daung Caves, particularly Shwe Ba Taung Paya, boasting shrines carved into the hillside decorated with elaborate mosaics and Buddha images and located in the Pow Win Daung Mountains. Overnight stay in Monywa.

  • Day 9 Monywa - Bagan

    Monywa - Bagan

    Transfer by a private vehicle from Monywa to Bagan. Today you will visit the Shwezigon Pagoda in the north of Bagan and the bustling and colourful Nyaung U market in Bagan. Later, take an electric scooter and begin a sightseeing tour of the city, covering the Dhammayangyi Temple and Ananda Pahto. Enjoy a glorious sunset over Bagan to culminate the day. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Bagan.

  • Day 10 Bagan – Yangon

    Take an optional hot-air balloon ride over Bagan at sunrise. Later in the day, visit a toddy farm hut and relish on Burmese tea in the small village of Shwe Hlaing on your way. Also taste some famous tea leaf salad accompanied by a cup of delicious Burmese tea. Continue to Popa Taungkalat Monastery, topped by a golden stupa. It is a famous pilgrimage site for locals. Enjoy a wide diversity of flora and fauna on your way to the monastery. Have lunch at the Popa Mountain Resort. After transfer to the local airport, take your flight from Bagan to Yangon whe re you will spend the night at a local hotel.

  • Day 11 Yangon - Kyaikhto

    Yangon - Kyaikhto

    Leave from Yangon towards Kyaikhto while enjoying sightseeing in-between. You will explore Htauk Kyan Allied War Cemetery, Bago main market and Shwemawdaw Paya and Shwethalyaung Buddha. For the sunset, you will visit Kyaikhityo, famed for its incredible balancing gold-leafed boulder stupa, hanging of the edge of a cliff at the top of Mt. Kyaikto. Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Kyaikhto.
