  • Day 1 Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

    Nairobi – Lake Naivasha

    You will be met on arrival at Nairobi Airport or collected from your hotel in Nairobi. Drive northwest towards Lake Naivasha, one of the Rift Valley’s most scenic and wildlife-abundant lakes. Surrounded by savannah grasslands, acacia forests and volcanic hills, the area is home to hippos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and a vast number of bird species.
     
    Arrive at Lake Naivasha Country Club, where you will stay for 1 night. After lunch at the hotel, take a boat trip on the lake and enjoy a walking safari in Crescent Island Game San ctuary. Head back to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for dinner.  Read More

  • Day 2 Lake Naivasha - Nakuru National Park

    After breakfast, drive to Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can take a morning game drive, a walking safari or a bike ride. Known for its towering cliffs and deep gorges, Hell’s Gate is dotted with volcanic hot springs, geysers and steam vents.
     
    Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. The park is a haven for wildlife, including more than 30 rhinos and a large leopard population. After lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, head out for another game drive in search of rhinos. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.  Read More

  • Day 3 Lake Nakuru – SolioRanch

    Drive north towards Mount Kenya, arriving at the Rhino Watch Lodge in time for lunch.Take an afternoon game drive in SolioRanch, a privately owned conservancy with a focus on rhino conservation. The reserve plays a significant role in the protection and breeding of black rhinos in Kenya and is home to the world’s largest population of white rhinos. You may also spot leopards, lions and cheetahs.
     
    Head back to Rhino Watch lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. 

  • Day 4 Solio Ranch – Samburu National Reserve

    Drive to the nearby Aberdare Giraffe Sanctuary and enjoy a walking safari to see giraffes, zebras and antelope in their natural habitat. Continue to Samburu National Reserve and have lunch at Ashnil Samburu Camp (or similar), where you will stay for 2 nights.
     
    An afternoon game drive in Samburu will give you an authentic wilderness experience. The magnificent landscapes of this reserve are home to rare species including the Grévy’s zebra and the reticulated giraffe as well as lions, cheetahs and elephants.   • Day 5 Samburu National Reserve

    A full day of wildlife viewing in this vast expanse of pristine wilderness. A highlight will be a game drive along the EwasoNyiro, a giant river populated with crocodiles and hippos, which is the only source of water for this dry reserve.
     
    Dinner and overnight at Samburu Camp. 

  • Day 6 Samburu National Reserve – OlPejeta Wildlife Conservancy

    Drive southwest past Mount Kenya on your way to the OlPejeta Wildlife Conservancy, via Nanyuki. Enjoy a wildlife drive en route to Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp, where you will stay for 1 night. Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino sanctuary in the whole of East Africa and is home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos.
     
    Have lunch at the camp, then head out for an afternoon game drive and visit a chimpanzee sanctuary.

    Start the day with an early morning wildlife drive, before a delicious breakfast at the camp. Then drive to Nairobi, arriving around midday.
