After an early breakfast at your hotel, head north towards Nairobi. You will follow the route of the railway line built by the British in the 19th century. Passing, through the warehouses and workshops on the outskirts of Mombasa, you will be climbing steadily to the point where the vast plains of Tsavo become visible in the distance. Admire the rolling Taita Hills on the horizon. Next, you go for a game drive in the Ngutuni Sanctuary, the luxury safari resort bordering Tsavo East National Park. Have lunch at the Ngutuni Lodge overlooking a waterhole and set against the stunning backdrop of the Sagala Hills. In the afternoon, proceed towards the Taita Hills Sanctuary to arrive at the Lodge.
Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge located in the heart of a private wildlife sanctuary located adjacent to Tsavo National Park, Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge is built on high stilts above a waterhole and animal feeding pastures. The lodge has 96 luxurious rooms equipped with all modern amenities. The lodge has an underground hide that gives its guests the chance to have a close encounter with the animals that roam the pastures.
Optional Extra Visitors have the option of going for an hour long night game drive in the sanctuary to see the nocturnal animals.

After an early morning game drive in the sanctuary, enjoy the magnificent views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro on your journey back to the resort for breakfast. Post breakfast, go for a short game drive in the sanctuary and arrive at the Taita Hills Lodge for lunch. Leave for Mombasa in the afternoon and reach your hotel in the evening.
