Karen Blixen Camp

Karen Blixen Camp encompasses 22 large luxury canvas tents – each set on a beautiful wooden platform with a spacious verandah. On the cushion daybed one can enjoy an afternoon siesta, taking in the wonderful surroundings.Each tent is en-suite and furnished with a large comfortable bed, Persian rugs and a cozy armchair giving you the ultimate in camping luxury. The private bathroom has a flush toilet, twin wash hand basins and a romantic outside shower with amazing view to the sky. Water is heated using solar panels to avoid any use of firewood and thus conserving the Mara Woodlands. Electricity is provided in all tents 24 hours a day by extended solar panel system and battery storing bank.

IL Moran Camp

Governors’ IL Moran Camp has ten vast, luxurious tents that feature super ‘king size’ beds fashioned from ancient fallen olive trees, and Victorian style baths. During the day, meals are served on the banks of the Mara River under the giant evergreen trees. Dinner is served by candlelight in the open dining tent or alfresco by the river. IL Moran is an ideal camp for honeymooners and couples who are looking for a very special safari experience.

Little Governors Camp

The guest tents at Little Governors' are all tucked into the edge of the forest overlooking a natural waterhole frequented by many animals. Each one is spacious with an en-suite bathroom, they have polished wooden decks with large verandas to enable guests to relax and enjoy the panorama of animals visiting the watering hole in front. Breakfast and lunch are served in the open air, and the resident family of warthogs frequently wander amongst the tables.

Ilkeliani Camp

Ilkeliani’s spacious tented suites have been thoughtfully designed to provide all the little luxuries that enhance a safari. Each suite has complete privacy, tucked into a grove of trees with its own private entrance. Raised on stilts, each offers sweeping views across the Talek River onto the golden plains of the Maasai Mara. The suites have spacious wooden decks with detachable canvas sides, and are elegantly adorned with flowing fabrics, comfortable furnishings and subtle lighting.

Governors Camp

Governors’ Camp nestles in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara River, it’s waters teeming with bird-life, hippo and crocodile, in the heart of Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve. Some of the 37 tents line the riverbank, tucked into the forest they enjoy uninterrupted views over the Mara River, others have views across the sweeping plains of the Masai Mara. Everything is under canvas, all tents have en-suit bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flushing toilets. There is a bar tent with deck overlooking the Mara River and dinning tent with views over the plains.

We have a choice of nine exclusive tents in which to host you accompanied by some breathtaking views and the warmest Kenyan hospitality you could wish for. There is no typical day at Ol Seki Hemingways Mara. We’re small and aim to personally tailor every day to suit what you want making your time in the Mara an unparalleled adventure in the realms of safari.

Main Naibor Camp

The Masai Mara National Reserve is 1500sqkm, with a surrounding dispersal area of approximately the same size again. The Masai Mara is exclusively in Kenya but borders Tanzania and the Serengeti National Park to the south. The Masai Mara is the northernmost part of the great Serengeti/Mara ecosystem. The Masai Mara habitat is rolling open grassland divided by riverine woodland associated with several small streams and rivers and the great Mara River.Naibor Camps is about 2km from the point where the Talek River flows into the Mara River, just about the very heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve. This is a superb location to explore the Masai Mara habitat, host to a vast array of wildlife. Many species of herbivores and ungulates support the many carnivores living here. There is fabulous wildlife viewing throughout the year, and from July to November the annual wildebeest migration passes through this area.

Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Mara Serena Safari Lodge has a restaurant and bar. Other facilities include a spa, fitness centre and outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the reserve from the lobby and the terrace.
