    Depart from UK an overnight flight to Bengaluru.

    Arrive very early in the morning and transfer to the hotel for a 2 night stay. Room booked from previous night (Room available for immediate check-in).

    Morning at leisure. Afternoon tour of Bengaluru, the silicon capital of India, noted for its gardens, tree-lined avenues and Gothic churches. Continue to the train station to board the luxury Golden Chariot train. In the evening depart for Mysore. Dinner on board.

    Morning drive to Nagarhole, an excellent wildlife sanctuary with the Kabini River running through it. Afternoon wildlife viewing. Stay overnight at Kabini River Lodge.

  • Day 5 Mysore

    Morning drive to Mysore. Afternoon visit to Srirangapatnam to see the site of Tipu Sultan’s summer palace and the Mysore Palace. In the evening visit the illuminated Brindavan Gardens. Return to the train.

    Morning arrival in Hassan. After breakfast, visit the Jain pilgrim centre at Shravanabelagola, with a huge statue of Gomatheshwara (175 ft tall). In the afternoon visit the intricately carved Hoysala Temples at Belur and Halebid.

    Full day sightseeing of Vijayanagar and Hempi ruins dating from the 14th century. Vijayanagar was one of the largest Hindu Empires in the Indian History extending from the Arabian Sea to the Bay of Bengal. The greatness of the city is still evident from the Vitala and the Hazara temples, the stone chariot, Lotus Mahal and the Queen’s bath.

    Morning arrival in Badami and a visit to the rock-cut shrines. Visit the ancient temples at Pattadakal, a World Heritage Site located on the banks of the Malaprabha River. Return to the train for an early evening departure to Goa.

  • Day 9 Goa

    Morning arrival at Karmali, Goa. Sightseeing of Goa. Visit the famous Portuguese churches of Old Goa. The day is spent in Goa. Return to the train for an overnight journey to Bengaluru.

After breakfast, visit Dubare Elephant Camp. It is a forest camp located on the banks of the Kaveri River. Guests can spot elephants as well as enjoy bird watching.The tour will then proceed to an amazing picnic attraction, Kaveri Nisargadhama in Kushalnagar. Return back to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay. Read More

On the third day of the tour, guests will travel to magnificent location of Talacauvery. It is situated in the picturesque Brahmagiri Hills. The River Kaveri originates from Talacauvery and a majestic Talacauvery Temple is built around it. The tour will also include Brahmagiri peak climbing and a visit to well-known Bhagamandala, a confluence of three sacred rivers, namely Kanike, Sujyothi, and Kaveri. Afterwards, visit the temple of Bhagandeshwara (Lord Shiva). Later, return to Madikeri.
After lunch, the tour will proceed to visit Abbi Waterfalls, followed by a visit to Omkareshwara Temple in evening. Marvel at the Gothic and Islamic style of architecture of the temple whilst enjoying the spiritual aura all around. Then proceed to Raja Seat, a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains. The garden also offers mesmerizing views of mountains in Coorg. Head back to the hotel or resort to spend the night.

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and head for Bengaluru. On the way, you will visit the Bylukuppe Tibettian Settlement (Golden Temple). It is the largest Tibetan settlement in India, near Kushalanagar in Kodagu district. The region has various temples and monasteries of major Vajrayana (Indo-Tibetan Buddhist) lineages.
Continue to Bengaluru and transfer to airport towards your onward journey to UK with sweet memories.
