  • Day 01 Sydney - Hunter Valley (247 km)

    Set off from Sydney and travel north over the Harbour Bridge for Pacific Highway. Detour via Gosford and Newcastle – two vibrant cities with numerous attractions and activities. From Newcastle enter the Hunter Valley through Maitland. The plentiful wineries here let you taste and buy some of Australia’s best wines. The art and gourmet delights are not to be missed!

  • Day 02 Hunter Valley - Port Stephens (161 km)

    Hunter Valley - Port Stephens (161 km)

    Depart from the Hunter Valley and head northeast to Port Stephens. Also called as the Blue Water Wonderland, Port Stephens is a natural bay bordered by two dormant volcanic headlands. After tasting the delectable seafood and exploring the golden sandy beaches, you take part in the afternoon cruise to visit the Bottlenose Dolphins.

    Leaving Port Stephens, travel north to reach Bulahdelah, the entrance to the Myall Lakes National Park. Proceed further along the Lakes Way, a route that provides picturesque vistas of the ocean beaches and inland lakes. Move to Port Macquarie, passing the Manning Valley and Taree. Go to the Coffs Harbour, the start of the sub-tropical northern coast of New South Wales. Its neighbouring district produces timber, vegetables, bananas, dairy products and fishes. Open every day, the ‘Big Banana’ displays the comprehensive elements from the banana industry.

    From Coffs Harbour, the highway follows the coast to Woolgoolga. The road then turns towards Grafton, a charming old town on the banks of Clarence River. The destinations to be covered post it are Woodburn, Ballina, Byron Bay and Cape Byron. The most eastern point on the Australian Coast, Cape Byron provides amazing surfing opportunities.

  • Day 06 Byron Bay - Brisbane (165 - 180 km)

    See the spectacular sunrise above the vast Pacific Ocean. Set off from Byron and travel towards the north for Brunswick Heads. You can either proceed along the shore via Pottsville Beach and Kingscliff and onto Brisbane through the Gold Coast or head inland to Murwillumbah. Continue on the Pacific Motorway for a direct route to Brisbane or go via Burleigh Heads and Surfers Paradise. Before entering Brisbane, you can also check out the Gold Coast Hinterland, making a halt at Lamington National Park. Drop off by car in the city or airport.
