    Begin the morning with a scenic boat ride on the Hooghly River. Post this visit Victoria Memorial, Indian Museum, St Paul's Church and Mother Theresa's centre. Back to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

  • Day 4 Kolkata to New Jalpaiguri

    Explore the city during day time. Indian railway experience begins in the evening from the Sealdah Station. Board the air-conditioned first class sleeper carriage of the Darjeeling Mail and travel North in the laps of the Himalayas. Overnight on board the train.

  • Day 5 New Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling

    In the morning arrive at New Jalpaiguri. Change to the narrow gauge toy train to Darjeeling. At Darjeeling, check-in at the hotel for the next two nights. In case the toy train isn’t working, transfer to Darjeeling shall be arranged via car.

  • Day 6 Darjeeling

    Observe Himalayan morning from the Tiger Hill. Come back to Darjeeling, on the way visiting the Ghoom Monastery. Explore the town in the remaining half of the day and also visit the famous Himalayan mountaineering Institute.

  • Day 7 Darjeeling to Varanasi

    Enjoy the morning at leisure. At midday board the air-conditioned train, from New Jalpaiguri, bound for Varanasi. Enjoy the ride into the Northern Plains that are cultivated by many Himalayan Rivers. Watch the colorful rural life slip by as you gradually approach the holy city of Varanasi. At Varanasi, check-in at the hotel and relax for night.

  • Day 8 Varanasi

    Relax through the morning doing what you please. In the afternoon undertake an excursion to Sarnath- the site where Lord Buddha gave his first public sermon.

  • Day 9 Varanasi

    Observe the devotees praying along the ghats/river banks in the morning as you undertake a boat ride on the Ganges. Indulge in any activity of your choice for the remaining day & in the evening attend the divine Ganga aarti ceremony. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 10 Varanasi to Agra

    Board the train to Agra today. On arrival in Agra transfer to the hotel. Relax through the day.

  • Day 11 Agra

    A visit to the Taj Mahal has been planned at sunrise. Later in the day visit the Red Fort located on the banks of River Yamuna, and the tomb of Itamud-ud-daula. If time permits, revisit the Taj Mahal at sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 12 Agra to Kalka Mail

    Indulge in leisure activities this morning. In the afternoon, transfer to Tundla and board an air-conditioned train, Kalka Mail, bound for Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Night shall be spent on the train.

  • Day 13 Kalka to Shimla

    Arrive at Kalka early this morning & board the heritage Shivalik Express toy train. The train takes four-hours to get you to Shimla. Post arrival check-in at hotel. Relax through the remaining day and indulge in the activities of your choice.

  • Day 14 Shimla

    Explore the town of Shimla at leisure visiting the mock Tudor Library, Christ Church, Gaiety Theatre and the Vice Regal Lodge etc. You can also indulge in shopping at the Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 15 Shimla to Delhi

    Reach Kalka via roadways and board Shatabdi Express, heading for Delhi. At Delhi, check in at hotel and spend the time at leisure.

    After a leisurely breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Stalk around the sprawling metropolis which is a bewitching blend of the past and the present. Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Swami Narayan Temple and Bangla Sahib Gurudwara are some of the famous edifices that lead the list of all the travellers here. An extensive sight-seeing tour of Delhi would include a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Rajpath, Parliament House, The President's residence and a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.
