  • Day 03 Mumbai - Udaipur

    Start your trip by registration at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. Proceed from there to the Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaja Terminus Railway station to board your train and start the journey. As the train moves towards Udaipur, you enjoy a sumptuous lunch and dinner onboard respectively.

    Wake up on your luxury ride and enjoy an amazing breakfast. When you arrive in Udaipur, you shall proceed for a boat ride at the Lake Pichola, after which you will visit the crystal gallery and the city palace. After this you return to your comfortable carrier, the Maharaja Express. Enjoy a lavish on-board lunch. You may now choose to indulge in  optional activities like enjoying a local tour or a relaxing spa  at a hotel. Have  a dinner at the Satkar Hall or Fatehprakash Palace or the Jamandir Island Palace.     Enjoy onboard breakfast and embark on the optional tour to Bishnoi village if you may like. Come back and have lunch on board. After this you visit the famous Mehrangarh fort, which is followed by a tour of the Old Clock Tower market. Here you can enjoy tuk tuk ride or proceed for an elite cocktail dinner at the Khaas Bagh or the Hanwant Mahal. You then return to the comfort of Maharaja express. Your luxury ride now proceeds to Bikaner.

    Enjoy the views of the country while enjoying an onboard breakfast. When you arrive to Bikaner, you can choose to either relax on board or choose from optional activities such as visiting the Lalgarh Museum or taking the local city tour. After this you enjoy on-board lunch. You then leave for your visit to Junagarh fort, where you will enjoy sundowners at the sand dunes. At the sand dunes, you will enjoy local folk dances and songs, together with barbeque and cocktails. You then return to the comfort of the Maharaja express and the train proceeds to Jaip ur.  Read More

    Enjoy on board breakfast. When you arrive at Jaipur, you can proceed to visit the Amber Fort. After taking in the spectacular views of the vicinity, you will proceed to Rambagh Palace hotel for lunch, after which you return to your luxurious train. There are other activities you can choose from such as visit to the city palace museum, a local hotel for a spa or a local city tour. Come back on board for dinner. The Maharaja express then takes you to Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore).

    Experience the game drive at the Ranthambore National Park. Return to the luxurious train for breakfast. Leave for Fatehpur Sikri then and enjoy lunch on board. Visit this splendid, deserted Mughal city, which was plush and proper back in the day. You then return to your splendid abode, where you will enjoy an “Indian Evening” that will be followed by a lavish on-board dinner.
