    On arrival in Hanoi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel. 

  • Day 2 Hanoi

    After breakfast leave to explore the fascinating history and rich culture of Vietnam’s capital city. Start the day by visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the final resting place of Vietnamese Revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh. Explore the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and learn about 54 different ethnic groups in Vietnam. The museum features tribal art and artefacts from across Vietnam. Temple of Literature dedicated to Confucius, and the site of Vietnam’s first university is next on your list for today. Visit the Hano i Opera house and the Old Quarter, a maze of busy streets dating back to the 13th century and characterised by its temples, markets, goods store, traffic and crowds of tourists. Also, check the nearby Sword Lake before you head back to your hotel.

  • Day 3 Hanoi - Halong Bay

    Early in the morning a scenic drive to Halong Bay. On arrival board the cruise ship. Lunch on board and cruise in the Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, featuring thousands of beautiful limestone karsts, and around 2000 islands and islets. This area has innumerable beaches and grottos(caves).Visit to a cave is included. Dinner and overnight on board.

  • Day 4 Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hoi An

    Halong Bay - Hanoi - Hoi An

    Start your day on a high note by taking a Tai Chi, a Chinese martial arts class in the morning before breakfast. Opportunity to take in some kayaking before cruising back to Cruise Terminal. On arrival drive back to Hanoi and board your flight to Denang. On arrival a short drive to Hoi An and to your overnight hotel.

  • Day 5 Hoi An

    A central coastal city known for its well-preserved Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with local crafts, canals and tradition of lanterns. Hoi An was an important trading port between 15th to 19th century. It’s melting-pot history is reflected in its architecture. A mixture of eras and styles from wooden Chinese shophouses and temples to colourful French colonial buildings, ornate Vietnamese tube houses and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge with its pagoda
     
    A short drive in the morning to Cua Dai Pier for a boat ride to the Thu Bon River. Visit a fishing village where you hop on to a bamboo boat to explore mangrove forests. You may have a chance to admire skilful fishermen working in the mangrove forest.  Enjoy a delicious BBQ seafood lunch at a local house. Later visit the town of Hoi An and explore the Japanese Bridge, the Chinese Temple, and the Tan Ky Chinese-style trading house. Stop by ‘Reaching Out Teahouse’, located in the Old Quarter.

    Today is at leisure for your independent exploration. You may re visit the Old Quarter for an active day or the Cua Dai Beach for a laid-back day by the beach.

  • Day 7 Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

    A short drive to Danang Airport to connect with your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel.

  • Day 8 Ho Chi Minh City visit Cu Chi Tunnel

    Ho Chi Minh City visit Cu Chi Tunnel

    Leave early in the morning to visit famous Cu Chi Tunnels. These tunnels were originally dug by the Resistance force during the French Indochina War, but played a more prominent part for military campaigns during the Vietnam War.
    Spreading over many hundred kilometres, the tunnels had trapdoors, constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapon factories, offices, meeting rooms, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens during their peak, many of which remain still intact. During your visit you will pass through narrow underground ducts to discover these. Watch a documentary on the wars of 1960s-70s and the significant role of these tunnels during the war.
     
    In the afternoon explore the city of Saigon and its various attractions including the Reunification Palace or War Museum as well as the Ben Thanh market.

  • Day 9 Ho Chi Minh City visit Mekong Delta

    Ho Chi Minh City visit Mekong Delta

    Early morning leave to explore the Mekong Delta. Drive to Phong Nam Pier for your cruise along the Chet Say River. Familiarise yourself with the local life. Visit a coconut charcoal factory & coconut processing shop, taste and learn about the use of coconut for making various food products. Stop by a local village to witness the process of mat weaving on a hand loom. Try your hand skills at mat weaving. Later take Xe Loi (a motorized rickshaw) that will take you through farms, rice and vegetable fields. Lunch at a local house. Later explore the narrow canals along the Mekong Delta on a sampan (a type of a boat). Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.
