  • Day 1 Arrive In Muscat

    Arrive In Muscat

    Early morning arrival in Muscat. Meet your guide here and make a visit to the Grand Mosque. Drive through the seaside residential area of Qurum to reach the Bait Al Zubair Museum. Explore the Royal Al Alam Palace surrounded by the 16th century forts of Jalali and Mirani later in the day. Visit the quaint and charming Muttrah Souq before you make your way back to the hotel. Get aboard a sunset cruise at 1530 hours and explore the magnificent coastline of Muscat for two hours. Return to your hotel post the cruise. Overnight stay at the hotel in Muscat.  Read More

  • Day 2 Nizwa-Jabrin-Nizwa

    After breakfast, check out at around 0830 hours and proceed toward Nizwa, the capital of the Julanda Dynasty between the 6th and 7th century AD. The imposing Nizwa Fort is the major attraction and impresses with its enormous round tower built by Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'rubi in the 17th century. Once you cross the narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors (meant for slowing down the enemies in event of an attack) to reach the top of the tower, you can have the bird’s eye view of the Nizwa City. Procee d to the Nizwa Souq from here, known for its intricately hand-carved “khanjar” and ornately designed silver jewellery. Drive toward the Jabrin Fort later, stopping on the way at the Bahla Fort, a World Heritage Site. Admire the well-planned layout, the ornate ceilings decorated with beautiful paintings as well as Islamic motifs at the Jabrin Fort, one of the finest castles in Oman built in the 17th century. End the day’s exploration by visiting the ruins of Tanuf and seeing the Falaj System. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 3 Nizwa-Sinaw-Ibra-Wahiba Sands

    Nizwa-Sinaw-Ibra-Wahiba Sands

    Check out after breakfast and proceed toward the beautiful village of Birkat Al Mauz. Enjoy a walk amidst the lush date plantations here. Continue driving to Nizwa via Sinaw. Visit the Sinaw Souq on the edge of the town. Arrive at your desert entry point, and board a 4x4 that will embark with you on the drive to the desert camp site for the exploration of the great desert of Oman known as ‘Rumlat Al Wahiba” or the Wahiba Sands. Undertake an adrenaline pumping dune bashing adventure with an expert driver here. Make way for the Al Raha Camp aft er your adventure and enjoy the evening in the desert under the star-lit sky. Dinner and Overnight stay at the Camp.

  • Day 4 Wahiba Sands-Wadi Bani Khalid-Sur

    After breakfast, spend some time exploring the desert. Thereafter, continue your drive towards Wadi Bani Khalid, a stunning valley that stands like an oasis in the desert, blessed with clear green natural springs. Next, make way toward the port city of Sur, located on Oman’s eastern tip. Admire the shipyards that played a pivotal role in Oman’s maritime past and the traditional wooden vessels still docked on the ports in Sur. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 5 Sur-Qalhat-Wadi Shaab-Bhima Sinkhole-Quriyat-Muscat

    Take the tour along the coastline from Sur to Quriyat today and be treated to breathtaking glimpses of the blue water of the Gulf of Oman and its pristine white beaches. Start at Qalhat for visiting the tomb of Bibi Mariam, also called the Mausoleum of Lady Mariam. The underground corridors beneath the floor of the shrine are accessible through a crypt at the shrine entrance. Later, visit the stunning Wadi Shaab, aptly named ‘Gorge Between Cliffs’. Admire the turquoise pools, waterfalls and terraced plantations here. Continue your journey to Muscat, driving past Quriyat, a small fishing village southeast of Muscat where the major attraction is the Port of Quriyat, still guarded by a watchtower. Arrive in Muscat and check in your hotel.
