South Korea and Jeju Island Adventure

Upon your arrival at Incheon Airport you will be transferred to your hotel in Seoul. After checking in, you have the rest of the day at your leisure to relax or explore the city on your own. 

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby to begin your full-day tour of Seoul. The tour begins with a pass by the Blue House, the former presidential residence which offers a glimpse into traditional Korean architecture. Next, witness the Royal Changing of the Guards Ceremony, a re-enactment of the Joseon Dynasty’s royal guard changes.
Continue to Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest of the Five Grand Palaces before visiting the National Folk Museum to discover Korea’s cultural history. Stroll through Insadong Antique Street, known for its gall eries, tea houses and antique shops and explore Bukchon Hanok Village, a preserved traditional Korean village. Embark on a fascinating DMZ tour this morning. Visit Imjingak Park, a memorial to those affected by the Korean War and cross the Freedom Bridge, once used for repatriated POWs. Explore the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, a secret passage dug by North Korea and learn about the division of Korea at the DMZ Theatre and Exhibition Hall. Enjoy panoramic views of North Korea from Dora Observatory then visit Dorasan Station, the northernmost railway station in South Korea. Head to Suwon where you’ll visit the Korean Folk Village to experience traditional Korean culture through restored homes and seasonal performances. Then explore Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site built during the Joseon Dynasty. After the tour return to Seoul and enjoy some free time before being dropped off at your hotel. 

Transfer to Gimpo Airport for your domestic flight to Jeju Island. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel to check-in and relax. 

Meet your guide for a day of exploration on Jeju Island. Start with a visit to Yongduam Rock, a natural formation resembling a dragon’s head. Then stop by Dokkaebi Road (Pass By) a hill where gravity-defying optical illusions are common. Continue to Seongsan Sunrise Peak, a volcanic tuff cone offering incredible sunrise views and visit Seongeup Folk Village, a well-preserved historical town that reflects Korea’s past. Return to your hotel in the evening. 

Embark on another full day of exploration. Visit Hyeopjae Beach, a beautiful spot with clear waters followed by a trip to Hallim Park, a large area filled with subtropical gardens and scenic views. Next, take a Sanbangsan Cruise to enjoy breathtaking coastal views before visiting Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, renowned for its natural beauty and healing properties. Finally, explore the O’sulloc Tea Museum which showcases Korea’s rich tea culture. Return to your hotel in the evening.
