    Today be ready for a pick up at 7:00 am from your hotel in Bangkok. You are going to visit Khao National Park, also one of the most important nature reserves in Southeast Asia. Upon, reaching here, you would take a special 3 km trek to the stunning Haew Narok Waterfalls. After, this you would move to the park’s headquarters to see research being conducted for the rare and endangered species of the park. Post this, you would move to Korat, Isaan’s biggest city, appreciating the glorious mountainous landscapes on the way. You would reach Korat by late in the afternoon and enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel.

  • Day 2 Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) - Ubon Ratchathani

    After having your breakfast at the hotel you would leave for Prasat Hin Phimai. Taking the Dharamasala route, you would reach the magnificent temple of Phanom Rung, Buriram. Its fine carvings are exemplary of the craftsmanship of Khmer artists. From here, you would proceed to Ubon Ratchathani and en route visit many more historical architectural marvels including Sikhorapuram, one of the ancient temples located in Surin city. If time permits, you would also visit the grand Wat Kamphaeng Yai, literally meaning the ‘Great Wall’, located near Si saket, dating 11-12 century built for worship. You would arrive in Ubon Ratchathani by late in the afternoon and enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel.

  • Day 3 Ubon Ratchathani

    After having your breakfast at the hotel you would depart on the route along the Mekong River. Your first brief stop would be at Ban Sai Khaw, to see the craftsmanship process of the famous bronze gongs that are used in Buddhist Temples all over the country. Next, you move to Khongjiam located at the union of Mekong and Mun Rivers to cruise and further explore the untouched landscapes, especially Laotian Village. You are going to stop en route for lunch and arrive at Pha Team National Park late in the afternoon. Here you will observe the wacky rock forma tions of Sao Chaliang, hike to the top of Lan Hin Taek that ends in a cliff overlooking the forest below and witness the panoramic view of Laos from the visitor’s center. Lastly, you would return to Ubon Ratchathani by evening and would be given a drop for your departure.
