Undertake a musical journey on this 9-day tour of New Orleans, Memphis and Nashville and make stops at ex-homes of legendary singers, popular music clubs and concerts. Enjoy local attractions at each of these locations as well as scenic drives through lush countryside.

  • Pay a visit to the Battleships at Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama
  • Enjoy music at the clubhouse at The French Quarter RV Park in New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz as well as visit Jackson Square, Basin Street and Audubon Park
  • Visit Elvis’s birthplace and the museum dedicated to his life at Tupelo
  • Stop by the Civil Rights Museum where Martin Luther King was shot
  • Amuse yourself at the Grand Ole Opry, a weekly country-music stage concert in Nashville
  • Explore the caves near Chattanooga and travel aboard the ‘Incline Railway’ for visiting the Lookout Mountain battlefields

  • Day 1 Atlanta - Montgomery

    Atlanta - Montgomery

    After picking up your motorhome, it’s an easy 21/2 hour Interstate drive into Alabama for your first night in the State Capital, Montgomery. 

  • Day 2 Mobile

    Mobile

    Heading for New Orleans, take a break at Mobile, Alabama and stop by Shady Acres Campground where you will get a warm welcome. 

  • Day 3 New Orleans

    New Orleans

    Head for the historic, gracious and unique city of New Orleans: the birthplace of jazz. You can walk from The French Quarter RV Park into the heart of New Orleans. Though the RV Park looks a little like a car park, it has full hookups and the Clubhouse is very ‘New Orleans’ with great facilities. The wonderful restaurants, the world famous music and nightlife for everyone might make you extend your stay here. 

  • Day 4 Jackson

    Move North now into Elvis country. It’s a long ride to ‘Elvis Town’ so we are breaking the journey just north of Jackson, Mississippi – another State Capital and staying at Timberlake Campground. 

  • Day 5 Tupelo

    Tupelo

     Leave the freeway traffic and take the very scenic Natchez Trace bound for Tupelo, Elvis Presley’s birthplace and home town until the age of thirteen. After a stop to visit, your campsite is at Barnes Crossing, just minutes north of the town. 

  • Day 6 Memphis

    Memphis

    Drive for a couple of hours through the Holly Springs National Forest to Memphis. Where better to stay than within walking distance of Graceland, Elvis Presley’s home. The Memphis-Graceland RV Park & Campground is located on 19 acres just off Elvis Presley Boulevard behind Elvis Presley’s Heartbreak Hotel. 

  • Day 7 Goodlettsville

    Travel to the home of Country Music and the city that saw Dolly Parton and a host of other great singers become international stars. Just north of Nashville is Goodlettsville and the Nashville Country RV Park and they organise tours through Grayline to major attractions such as the Grand Ole Opry (Tues, Fri, Sat night), Country Music Hall of Fame and the Jack Daniels Distillery. 

  • Day 8 Chattanooga

    Chattanooga

    We will travel for just over two hours to our last stop of this trip near Chattanooga. Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground is the closest campground to the area’s major attractions: Tennessee Aquarium, Lookout Mountain, Southern Belle Riverboat, IMAX Theatre, and downtown Chattanooga. Adjacent is Raccoon Mountain Caverns with 51/2 miles of cave systems to explore. 

  • Day 9 Atlanta

    Drive for just over 2 hours/130 miles to be dropped off your motorhome back at Cruise America in Atlanta.

  • Prices above are per person in pounds sterling (£) based on twin sharing..
  • If you are arriving into North America on an international or overnight flight, for your safety vehicles cannot be picked up on that same day. Evening flights should be scheduled for the day of return.
